From hypochondriac to hero...

Murray Selwyn, six-foot-two and athletic, has not long to live.

With his bad heart, aching bones and the freakish weather sweeping over London, he's bound to catch double pneumonia, which would be a graveyard guarantee indeed.

Peace, perfect peace, that's what Murray requires.

Or so he thinks.

So wrapped up in his invisible health problems, when Murray comes across a hold-up, a murder and masses of forged fivers, he's first too worried about catching a chill to give them much attention.

But when crooks follow him to his nursing home, Murray finds himself forced to forget his ailments and focus on the crime at hand.

A mysterious man in a bowler hat appears at his door.

A body disappears from his possession ... twice!

And the police take him for a cracked up fool.

Aided by his trusty servant Twigg and the pretty and confident nurse Georgie Brooks, Murray musters all his efforts in an attempt to thwart the crooks' plans...

THE HARASSED HERO is a hilarious but gripping mystery thriller.
