Cressida was filled with misgivings when she met her new employer, Sir Piers Aylward. She was prepared for a bespectacled, aged aristocrat -- not this frosty, withdrawn, though decidedly handsome, young man. Well, she was here to do a job. And do it she would, she decided. Organizing the opening to the public of the Priory, his Suffolk ancestral home, was well within her capabilities. What she couldn't do, however, was deal with this clearly difficult man, nor ignore the strange flutter of her pulse when he was around.
