Chief Rowan Blake runs the Rescue Center at Breaker’s Point, a rugged resort nestled halfway between the Pacific Ocean and the mountains. A former medic haunted by tragedy, Rowan focuses all her energy on saving lives and ensuring her team’s safety.
Recently retired from the army, combat pilot Kat Mitchell is looking for a job. Discovering her call sign, ‘Rebel,’ along with an official reprimand (and a medal for bravery) in her personnel file is all Rowan needs to determine that Kat might be trouble.
Yet, with the season about to start, Rowan has no choice but to take a gamble on the alluring but potentially reckless pilot. It isn’t long before the two women clash, sparking attraction as well.
