Knighthood. Adventure. Fantasy.

Can a merman get away with impersonating a knight in order to bring justice to those in need?
Doone is a knight with imposter syndrome—because he is an imposter! He is, in actuality, forbidden from knighthood due to his lowly cast as a merman. Doone only planned to temporarily impersonate Sir Gallad Dann’n, the Forest Knight. After he taught his oafish brute of a master a lesson and set him on a path of heroism, he intended to return to his old life as a lowly servant.

But one good deed has led to another, and now Doone finds himself in over his head.

Doone must return Princess Mitra to Queen Rowena before the sovereign dies of a broken heart. If Doone is caught impersonating a knight, he will be executed.

Doone intends to deliver the princess safely to the capital and slip away before he is caught, but he is delayed from his journey when a village of cursed victims seek assistance with the mystery causing their illness. Doone finds himself playing the hero again, but the longer he delays on his mission, the more likely he is to be caught.

When Princess Mitra falls ill to the villager’s curse, Doone fears the hope of the kingdom will be lost and he will be to blame. Will Doone solve this mystery, save the princess, and escape before the village realizes he is an imposter?

Step into a fantasy world that brings us back to the comfort of childhood fairytales with heroes who get by with a little bit of magic and a whole lot of wit.
