Five thousand people were assigned to every tutorial zone.

Eithan Samsen was sent somewhere alone.

When the System arrives and transforms Earth, humanity is divided into massive tutorial groups designed to prepare survivors for the world waiting on the other side. Most tutorials last a few weeks. The longest survivors might remain for a month.

Eithan’s assignment is different.

Instead of joining four thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine other people, he awakens by himself inside an enormous volcanic ecosystem filled with boiling rivers, toxic vegetation, and predators powerful enough to tear him apart.

Then his assignment begins to malfunction.

With no allies, no guidance, and no clear way out, Eithan survives by relying on the skills he learned during seven years at an environmental waste company: mapping contamination, studying dangerous systems, documenting patterns, and identifying exactly how things fail.

They are useful skills.

Unfortunately, he learned them while helping a corporation dispose of its environmental waste.

When the System offers him a class, it chooses Druid.

The irony is difficult to miss.

Armed with root magic, biological healing, and a rare ability that removes corruption by drawing it into his own body, Eithan begins restoring the dying ecosystem around him. Along the way, he forms a bond with three deadly wolves, uncovers the remains of a previous Custodian, and discovers that his isolated tutorial is far more important—and far more dangerous—than it first appeared.

Weeks become months.

While the rest of humanity returns to Earth, Eithan remains trapped inside the volcanic Vault.

Training. Evolving. Restoring what others could not.

By the time he finally escapes, six months have passed.

Earth is no longer the world he remembers. Civilization has fractured into fortified settlements. Alien factions are competing for territory. Monsters roam through cities reclaimed by unnatural forests. And humanity has been given a limited amount of time to prove that it deserves to keep its own planet.

Eithan has spent most of his life working inside systems built to hide responsibility.

Now he must build something better.

A living fortress.

A community capable of surviving.

And a defense strong enough to stop civilizations that have conquered worlds before.

He may be the wrong man to become a druid.

But after six months alone, he is no ordinary one.

The Wrong Druid: Roots From the Ashes is a character-driven Apocalypse LitRPG featuring an isolated extended tutorial, tactical progression, evolving nature magic, settlement building, powerful animal companions, alien factions, large-scale battles, and a morally complicated hero determined to repair the damage instead of walking away from it.
