Ain’t easy.
Spring has sprung in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and for Fern Fischer’s best friend Elliot, that means it’s time to head high into the hills to attend the annual Texas Cheese Lovers Festival.
The festival is always held at the amazing Bradford House resort, and includes gourmet food, visits to the spa, a trail ride, and much more. The climax of the weekend is definitely the highly competitive Cheese Off.
Since Elliot won Best in Show last year, he’s been awarded a post as an honorary judge for this year’s contest and a luxurious penthouse suite. Best of all, he’s invited Fern to go along with him as his plus-one.
The Bradford House is a dream come true right down to the last detail, and Fern feels right at home in the luxurious penthouse suite with Elliot.
It’s shaping up to be the best weekend ever . . . until one of the contestants in the Cheese Off turns up dead.
There’s no rest for the weary it seems, and Fern and Elliot will have to spend their vacation getting to the bottom of a mystery!
