Reddman gripped the brakes hard and jerked to his left as he steered for the opening in the oncoming lane. Beyond the truck, the road bent sharply to the right and he leaned hard in that direction, snapping the handlebars hard. I'm losing it, he thought, knowing that if he did, he would die.
