Cassie finds the targeted person, and they’re not who she expected. Why were they stabbed? The death is linked to the past and another Barrington resident, a certain someone who’s already treading on thin ice. Once more, Cassie is obliged to sort the mess out despite not wanting to, finding the knife-wielder before DI Branding and shutting the killer up for good.
