Debbie has been holding it together for years, hiding a big secret. She had to run away to London to escape the police who were hunting her down as Susie Broughton, a fifteen-year-old frightened out of her mind. Working on the East End streets and becoming Debbie was the best thing she’s ever done, but every Christmas, memories surface, and she’s forced to face her past.
