The Earth Made of Glass

In 1691, into a small isolated village comes the Inquisitor. He is there to deal with the sale of church land and to investigate the death of a woman killed 30 years earlier as a witch. The author's first novel, "Winter Garden", won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
