Young Ray Verity took to the outlaw trail when his three brothers were killed by ranchers who believed the Verity boys guilty of cattle rustling. He swore vengeance on Miles Tenbow, whom he held responsible for the crime. From the hills near the range which had once been his Ray came down to pursue his enemy; but when it was within Ray’s power to kill him, Ray saved Tenbow’s life instead, then fled to save his own. Ray returned again and again, and each time he learned more of the circumstances that had caused his brothers’ deaths and put a price on his own head.
