Season to Kill

Handsome, cheeky and Welsh, Griff Maddoc is the new celebrity chef in town. He's melting hearts, and even D.I. Angela Costello is a fan! Griff invites the great and good to his book launch at the Chelsea Flower show. But the event comes to an abrupt end when his agent collapses, writhing on the floor having eaten a salad... sprinkled with cyanide. Was Griff the murderer? He handed over the deadly dish. Or was the killer aiming for Griff all along? D.I. Costello must investigate all angles and as she starts to ask questions a complex web of possible motives emerges: an affair, a sinister family grudge, hidden gambling debts. How will Angela unpick the truth... and if Griff was the intended victim, can she do so before the killer turns their hand to murder once more?
