(1976)
(The fourth book in the Kyrik series)
A novel by

This is Gardner F Fox's second paperback attempt at writing Sword & Sorcery that would rival Robert E. Howard. There are 4 books in this series. Mr. Fox's was heavily inspired by Robert E. Howard's Sword & Sorcery stories: Conan, Kull & Bran Mak Mor. From the world beyond--or past--time Kothar comes. His Sword & Sorcery books read like Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. All they need is a great Game Master to orchestrate the adventure.

SORCERER's SPELL
Kyrik, the mighty warrior, met a lovely woman who appeared to be his gypsy lover Myrnis. But then she disappeared, and Kyrik met another woman who looked just like her. Was this the real Myrnis, or the Lost Queen? The two embarked on a search for the answers, which led them to a strange land where the lovely Myrnis was ruling, under a wizard's spell. Which was the real Myrnis? Sword and sorcery at its thrilling best.

KYRIK - Warlock Warrior
Kyrik grinned. His blade came into the faint torchlight, and he ran to meet those men who hungered for his death. With sweeping sword-blade and darting dagger, he met them.
Bluefang slashed deeply into a man's throat. His dagger rammed its blade into the belly of another. Instantly he freed both weapons, jerking them from the hot flesh in which they were buried, and again he swung and jabbed.
