Soon after her arrival at Monk's House on the Kentish coast, Lilith Redshaw had been told that it was haunted by a monk, and she had laughed. Of greater interest was their neighbour, the mysterious Fabian Delamaye. Was he truly as debauched as rumour told, and what was the truth about his wife's death?
