In Search of Love: When beautiful Melanie Adams finally took her well-earned rest from the world of business, she chose the idyllic countryside along Oregon's Rogue River for her vacation spot. But staying at the only real guest camp along the river meant roughing it with a capital "R." So when the only interesting man she met there, handsome geologist Deke Brandt, mentioned a modern lodge upriver, Melanie was determined that he wasn't the only one who was going to enjoy the comforts of a civilized hotel. Deke tried to discourage her from staying at the lodge, claiming that the Oregon beach was a much better place for an Eastern tourist, but Melanie wouldn't listen to him. Deke's irritating advice only made Melanie more strongly resolved to prove him wrong, to show him that she could manage as well as any native. And manage she did, until the fateful day when she stumbled into a danger she couldn't overcome--and found the kind of love her heart could not deny . . .
