Supervision was mandatory for a reason.

Spring break at Warden's Rest Academy. Most students have gone home, leaving only a handful behind. The ones with nowhere else to go, the ones who forgot to leave, and Marcus, who's using the empty library to "study ahead."

Alden figured a week with only six students would be easy. He figured wrong.

Without the usual crowds to dilute their chaos, his remaining disasters achieve concentrated mayhem. Milo attempts "improvements" to the academy's magical systems as well as practicing with increasingly solid obstacles in empty hallways. Darion starts a prank war that escalates to siege weapons by day three.

When their "fun" accidentally damages the academy's containment cells, releasing a week's worth of confiscated dangerous items, cursed objects, and one very angry homework golem, the break becomes anything but relaxing.

Now Alden must wrangle six bored teenagers who've turned the entire academy into their playground, all while recapturing magical contraband that should never have been combined.

At Warden's Rest, spring break isn't a vacation. It's a supervision nightmare with meal times.
