As Typhoon Ophelia bears down on the infamous casino hub of Macau in southern China, a research director at a top-secret Chinese bio-weapons facility is preparing to carry out a mission that might end his career but save his life. A few hours later, the scientist is dead and a devastating pathogen is locked away inside the vault of a casino owned by one of the former Portuguese colony’s most violent and ruthless criminal Triads.
Enter former SAS soldier Andrew Sterling, now working for the Regiment’s special investigative unit tasked with hunting down WMD terror threats.
