Testament of Violence

When Winifred Rolfe, a highly respected, middle-aged, middle-class spinster is murdered in her bed, the hunt is on to find a motive. Nothing has been stolen from the house. The beneficiaries under her will are large public charities. There is no trace of an intruder except for a bizarre and naive attempt to fake the death as a suicide. Miss Rolfe hadn't an enemy in the world. What brought a secret midnight killer to her bedside?
