Paul's dilemma -
Fresh out of law school, I made a mistake with a woman that nearly cost me everything I ever dreamt of. Thanks to my friend Keith MacLauren's newly launched software company, I was able to recover.
Now, twelve years later, I'm tempted once again.
During her internship, Claire Gardner enchanted me with her sunshine innocence and joy of life.
I was able to resist for those three months but now she's just down the hall working in the PR suite.
As we're working late one night, a blackout happens and I make her mine.
I know it's wrong in so many ways but I can't let her go.
When the company is caught up in a swirl of sexual harassment, intelligence theft and corporate espionage by Keith's family and Keith's assistant is attacked, I don't hesitate to move Claire into my apartment to keep her safe.
I didn't realize she'd overheard and misunderstood a conversation.
At least my end of it.
Trying to focus on fighting off the legal threats and keeping each part of my life separate is tearing the two of us further apart.
And then she ends it in front of my closest friends.
Now, I can either let her go or--
Risk everything by telling her what I did and who I've been hiding.
Genre: Romance
