A novel by

Hazel Merriweather expected to open a bookshop, not solve a murder.
When Hazel and her rescue cat, Edgar, move to the misty island of Lenora Bay, Hazel is ready to set up her very own bookshop. She’s hoping for a fresh start and new friends.
Instead, she finds a corpse on the cliffs.
The police call it an accident, but the observant Hazel suspects murder, especially since the victim’s ghost has been dropping cryptic clues.
The police identify the victim as Matthew Turner, the local jerk. Everyone knows he broke Robin Burke’s heart. He’s also been known to cause trouble by crashing into the mail carrier, Kim Jarvis, knocking Noah Cox’s tax forms into a puddle.
When the police decide to take the investigation seriously, their prime suspect is Hazel’s new friend Robin. Hazel doesn’t think her friend did it, so she has to find the true culprit.
Hazel, along with her judgmental cat, must solve the murder before she’s next to be shoved off the cliff.
