We’re Chris Deans and Colin Thomas Begg, and together we write as CC Gilmartin.Scots-born, we’ve made our home in the beautiful city of Glasgow, but we’ve previously lived in London, Sydney, Berlin and Barcelona. Between us, we’ve been a playwright, bookseller, set designer, jeweller, teacher and life model. Writing books was never really the plan but ideas and stories kept coming, demanding to be put to paper.
With a shared passion for Crime Fiction and Suspense, the stories we create have dark secrets at their heart. Love, denial and betrayal drive, and sometimes destroy, our characters.
