Valentine’s Day!
A fun day, thought of as a romantic holiday, or a day when the kids get their little cards going before they head out to schooland maybe have a candy day, too!
Like many traditions that have come down through time, twisting and turning here and there, the holiday, aligning with hope for the quick coming of spring, has a slew of origins. Now, of course, our stores are filled with candy, romantic cards, and flowers!
But not all cards are for the great love of one’s lifewe can recognize our families and our friends, have a barbecue, or dine at a restaurant offering up a special!
Even cook something someone loves!
In the twisting, the history with Valentine’s Day happens to tie it in with an ancient pagan holiday, one that was celebrated way back with hopes for an early of spring. And then, of course, there was St. Valentine! But . . . that’s all in the first flash story!
History suggests that the one legend might involved two men with the name, bot of them good, good people. But in the first little flash here, there’s a bit on my take of the main legend, and I hope you’ll enjoy my take on it all!
