The eight looters left the tiny settlement burning, left two Texas Trouble-Shooters to die a fiery death in the town jail. This would have ended the legend of the notorious outlaw-fighters, but for the intervention of scar-faced Belle Fassen. Riding free again and craving vengeance, the Texans hunted their treacherous quarry and caught up with the last guilty men in San Francisco, eight hundred and fifty miles from where it all began.
