In this prelude to Wanda's Reign, Robert King is in jail awaiting trial for the murder of Camesha Collins and several counts of conspiracy to commit murder. He is grieving the murder of his son Ronald, who died at the hands of Rain Robinson. King blames one man for all his troubles - Mike Black. From his prison cell, King plots his revenge. He is determined to have Black join him behind bars. He gets an opportunity when he hears an urban legend about Black. Knowing that all urban legends have some basis in fact, King takes a shot. The result: Mike Black is arrested and charged with kidnapping a U.S. congressman.
It has taken some time and some careful planning and preparation, but Wanda Moore finally has what she has always wanted. She is now the head of the criminal organization. A position that Wanda felt she deserved for quite some time. With the power she's carrying, Wanda moves quickly to consolidate her power. Now, with enemy-turned-loyal ally, Rain Robinson, at her back, Wanda is furthering their business concerns, settling old scores and making new enemies.
