Ulterior Motive

After being questioned by the police in the death of her boss’s wife, Angela Pettybone called Attorney Marcus Douglas for help. Angela is an old friend from college that Marcus was in love with and the feelings are still there. As for Marcus, his torrid affair with former client turned lover, Panthea Daniels may have ended badly, but she is not ready to let Marcus go. She sees Angela as a rival for his attention and affection and that is unacceptable. As the body count rises and all seem to be connected to Angela, Marcus must unravel the twisted details and keep his personal feelings for Angela from clouding his objectivity if he is going to keep her from going to jail.
