The dragons on Mistveil Island are not your run-of-the-mill kind. They’re something else entirely…
When I’m summoned to the Royal Offices, I expect to be promoted. I’ve earned it. I’m so sure the job is mine, but as it turns out, I was wrong. What I get instead is a one-way ticket to the Mainland on a covert mission so secret, my own people will abandon me if I’m caught. My career? On the line – the promotion too. My life? Through new intel, it has become apparent that the humans are hiding something. I need to find out what that something is. More importantly, a Draiger agent has been sent to infiltrate the Mainland government. My orders: identify them, stop them, and – if necessary – end them.

Turns out our mystery agent is not only female but sexy as hell, with one heck of a smart mouth. So much so that she has my dragon all riled up.

We may have struck up a reluctant truce, but I need to watch my back. She’s not to be trusted. Certainly not with so much at stake.
