In 2019 Dean added the Doug Fletcher series with Stolen Past, Washed Away, Dead in the Water and Death in Shifting Sands, set in Northern Arizona and Padre Island National Seashore.
This series features Doug, a retired St. Paul detective, who is drafted by the Flagstaff superintendent to investigate crimes on Park Service lands.
