The Wealdwife's Tale

For many years, the Wenceslaus family of West Redding has tilled its fields, raised its children, ordered its domains, and held peace with the world. The eighth duke continues the tradition, but since the death of his beloved wife, he has become obsessed with flying to the center of the great wood adjacent to his lands to search for her--and his obsession leads to dire consequences.
