BOOK ONE – BROKEN GALAXY
Jim Carter is a PTSD-riddled former Marine with a secret: he has a broken-down, sentient starship named Jade hidden in his airplane hangar. He expected to get found out, of course. Eventually. But by a hot-as-blazes female test pilot? When love finds Jim at last, it hits him big-time. For a change, things are breaking his way.
With his newfound lover Bonnie, Jim tries to repair Jade before her enemies find her and enslave humanity. But starship buddy Jade decides to help by creating a clone – a beautiful woman, formed with the memories and emotions of Jim and Bonnie combined into one person – and madly in love with both. As the clone Rita comes to terms with her new life, and Jim tries to reconcile the love of two beautiful women, Jade’s makeshift crew flees from one crisis to another with the Americans, Russians, and an implacable alien enemy in hot pursuit.
