Centuries ago, a cataclysm sundered the world and the gods along with it. The rangers, once the noble defenders of the frontier, were rendered powerless. The wall between civilization and barbarism collapsed.
Yet new protectors have risen in their place. Drake Ashrose is a Warden of the Wildlands, a monster slayer trained in survival, warfare, and forbidden alchemy to compensate for his lack of magical power.
