Six Clemons had left the U.S. Marshal’s Service after unprofessionally losing his temper over the release of a particularly bad scumbag, the kind who hurt little girls. He had intended to road trip across the U.S., but took a detour when he rescued two illegal immigrant women from a man clearly intent on doing them harm. As luck would have it, a phone call from a friend put him in touch with a rancher in Fresno who was able to safely look after the women, and who also needed a big favor. A growing local gang, headed by a tough called Juan Carlos, was terrorizing the rancher’s workers, and he needed some help in dealing with the situation, just the kind of help that Six Clemons was best at.
