When ex-lawman Matt Nelson visits his kinfolk, he finds that they have died recently in very mysterious circumstances. Set on uncovering the truth, Matt becomes convinced that Major Barton, owner of the big Diamond B spread, is bent on grabbing land in the valley and will stop at nothing - not even murder - to achieve his aim. Determined to thwart Barton's plans, Matt has several run-ins with the Major's men. However, things really become serious when Matt and his girl, Marion Arnold, are taken prisoner by Barton...
