Ink inscription, faint stamp mark and evidence of erasing to front free endpaper, otherwise clean throughout. Bound within red cloth covered boards, lightly rubbed to corners and edges, a little marked all over but gold gilt to spine gloriously shiny. Fore-edges browned and foxed. Binding a little shaken. Displayed within original price clipped dust wrapper designed by Studio Stead, depicting Biggles swooping down towards a Bull; a little worn and grubby with discreet tape repair to under side, but over all in good condition!
