Sad to hear of the passing of his cousin and namesake Sir John Messiter, the new Sir John is nevertheless pleased to inherit his cousin's title and estates. All seems well until a mysterious parcel arrives at his London home - a parcel containing the decapitated head of a beautiful woman. A parcel evidently intended for his dead cousin.
