Clint Bellamy and Mex Juarez decide to do their damndest to help Mal Barrett when he is framed for killing Faro. The odds are stacked against them since the Marshal is in league with schemers planning to 'acquire' the Rafter K ranch from Stella, Mal's sister. To complicate matters, Stella is in love with Steve Mitchell, secretly the leader of the range-grabbers, who asks her to marry him, knowing that if she does the ranch will automatically become his by law. Time is rapidly running out with Clint and Mex with their backs to the wall and the three gang leaders coming for them with guns drawn...
