Keith Knowles was Director of Marine Operations for Cosmos Cruise Lines. He hoped the cruise on the Melody would be uneventful for its new captain..
It was usually peaceful on The Melody, one of Cosmos Cruise Lines most popular ships.
Then their new captain broke his leg and Captain Keith Knowles had to take the helm himself. He invited wife Adrianne Chrisander to join him because the cruise was over Valentine’s Day.
Well, all was peaceful aboard the Melody until it wasn't!
Their wacky Director of Marketing had dreamed up a cooking competition at sea and of course anything Maria concocted always got complicated.
When one of the chefs started chasing another around the ship with a cleaver, Adrianne and Keith knew they had to act fast to stop their decks turning red with blood!
There was one threat after another, and they all seemed to swirl around the host of the cooking competition, Gervaise Moderna. He insisted somebody was out to get him, but he told a lot of tall tales. Chief Security Officer Manny Lopez thought it might all be a publicity stunt.
Adrianne and Keith hoped Manny was right.
