An abandoned trove. An unguarded treasure. What could go wrong?
Being known as the kid who sees ghosts, complete with an embarrassing video plastered all over the internet, is a terrible way to start high school. Drew had hoped he was leaving all that behind at his old school, but unfortunately some things are never forgotten.
What he doesn't know is that he's had his first glimpse into the magical world, and his dubious fame has drawn the attention of a notorious adventurer known for delving into magical ruins. This mysterious figure wants to use Drew's abilities to retrieve a piece of a powerful artifact left behind by a long vanished race.
Drew soon finds himself caught in a race to find the other pieces of the artifact, with no idea who to trust. And if that wasn't enough pressure, he learns that once this artifact is put back together it might be the key to saving the world.
Or destroying it.
