The Soldier's Daughter

Sir William Wallace, the Scots hero of the Battle of Stirling Bridge, left his daughter Jilliana three things--rigorous training as a warrior, his famous sword, and a powerful need to avenge the betrayal that resulted in his horrifying death. Caught between the secret of her birth and a mission of vengeance which should never have fallen to her, Jilliana is swept into Robert Bruce's battle to once again free Scotland from English rule.
