Welcome back to a day in the life of Freya Andrews – it could be her last.
A life half-lived is a life unlived - that's what the endless stream of influencers on 17-year-old Freya's phone insist anyway. To kickstart her own social media following, she decides to drag her best friend, Imogen, on a trip to film content in an isolated bothy in the Scottish Highlands.
But the wilderness bothy isn't the dreamy utopia Freya had pictured. It’s a one-bedroom shack full of bunk beds and bedbugs, and she certainly didn’t come here to get caught up in feuds and rumours that the bothy is haunted.
But miles away from civilisation, Freya soon realises there's no way out. And when she stumbles across a dead body, she discovers that the other guests have secrets - secrets they'd be willing to kill to protect.
