The exploits of the 'Demon of the Air' - that daring aviator and thief - appear to have ended in the Demon's death in an aeroplane crash. But when the stolen goods begin to be returned to their previous owners in the most unorthodox manner it appears that the Demon is making amends for his previous crimes. Inspector Margetson of the Yard is in no mood for forgiveness, however, and is determined that the Demon will not escape the clutches of the law a second time!

Originally published in 1937, this vintage crime thriller from the golden age of detection revels in the romance and excitement of recent advances in the field of aircraft technology. It is a direct sequel to the author's previous novel, Demon of the Air (1936).
