Bracken's Bond
(2027)(The second book in the Saint's Outlaws MC: Morgantown, WV: Officers series)
A novel by Elizabeth Knox
She's been the club's for years. She was never supposed to be mine.
Bracken
I've known Shayla longer than I've known most of my brothers. Watched her pour drinks and keep her chin up and take care of everyone in this clubhouse but herself. She's the one person in this life who never wanted a thing from meso she's the one I'd give anything to.
I just never figured out how to tell her.
What I didn't know was that a rich man in a good suit took her son years ago. Painted her as unfit, out-lawyered her, and turned her own family against her until she had nowhere left to land but here. She lost her boy to a man with money and a story, and she stopped believing she'd ever get him back.
I'm going to get him back for her.
But the second we start fighting for her kid, her ex starts fighting uspermits frozen, lawyers circling, the whole club bleeding for a war it didn't pick. Then he makes her the offer: walk away from her son, and it all goes away.
She'll do it, too. She'll give up the only thing she's ever wanted to keep the rest of us safe.
I won't let her.
He thinks he's untouchable: clean hands, clean name, friends in every office that matters. He took her boy with paperwork and lies, and he's betting I'll play by the same rules.
I won't.
He's about to learn there's a bond no lawyer can break and no judge can sign away, and I'll bury every man who tries.
Genre: Romantic Suspense
