Luke is sent to live with his Quaker aunt and uncle. At first he resents being in the country but then he meets Tam Svenson, who lives on an old wreck. With Tam's help and that of the ghost of a Viking warrior, Luke mounts a campaign to save the salt marshes from developers. Readership level: 10+.
