I used to live such a normal life. Boring, some might say. But I didn’t mind it being boring because it was mine. I had complete control over it. I was studying hard to one day be a nurse, to one day help other people.
And now, I’m here, in this hell where dreadful things happen to me every single moment of every single day. All because I believed that the cool, older guy with a flashy car and a smile that lit up a room actually liked me. Loved me, even.
Little did I know he was just luring me in to sell me to these guys.
It’s been eighteen months now, and I’m already on the brink of cracking up. I can’t make it eighteen years. I just can’t, even if there is no way out. I guess I still have a little glimmer of hope even if it seems impossible.
At least, it’s always seemed impossible until I lock eyes with the kind face which really does not belong here…
