A gritty, action-packed comedic crime thriller set in Colorado and starring a PI named Brandy Martini.

When someone starts blowing up buildings in the town of Boomville, Colorado, Brandy Martini, a former big city cop turned small town PI, is hired by a wealthy property owner to find out who is targeting his vacation rentals and the tourists inside them. But how do you start an investigation in which half the town seems to have a motive or a skill that puts them on Boomville’s Most Wanted list? As Brandy tries to track down a mythical campsite in the forest, investigates suspects, dodges bullets, crossbows, wild animals, sarcastic remarks and flying body parts, she must also deal with her sister Annie’s new occupation, her escalating feelings for the man she can’t have, a newly formed Boomville Coalition for the Forcefully Displaced, a mysterious woman in a wig, her own demons and dark side, and a surprise visit that rattles her world.
As the town prepares for its annual Boom Fest event, Brandy races against the clock to prevent another attack. This time it's personal and she will stop at nothing to save lives, even if it means losing her own.
