England is at war with the French. Traitors betraying England are smuggling French spies, amongst other things, onto English soil. When Hugo is sent to Padstow to try to identify the network of people who are betraying the country, he encounters a deadly trail of murder and deceit within the sleepy fishing village which makes him question everything. He needs his colleagues from the War Office, but can even they locate the traitors to King and country?
