The Alien Conspiracy

A novel by

Life changed in a dramatic way for college professor Margo Armistead when she purchased an ancient relic, the mummified body known as the San Pedros Mountain Mummy. After she sent DNA samples off to an eastern laboratory, the results were also sent without her knowledge to a clandestine government agency. Almost immediately afterwards a fellow professor was murdered and Margo was heading out west for the only sanctuary she knew, Roy Buckthorn.

Out in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Roy Buckthorn publishes a SciFi magazine named Stargazer. He barely remembers the accident that took the life of his parents as they were motoring through the Big Horn Mountains. He was pulled out of the wreckage by denizens of the mountains, The Little People, lived with them in their home caves and tunnels winding deep under the mountain range until he attained manhood. There were a few others who were brought there also, among them Claude Black Eagle and Julia Birdsong, a Crow woman of extraordinary beauty.

The rumblings of trouble soon reach out to Tutla, the High Priest of the Little People, in his mountain fortress. Through use of his Pentagram Star he summons the other high priests and by the same means contacts Roy Buckthorn, the one man he believes has the power to help them.

In Washington, D.C., Harold Blake, the head of Alpha-2-Kilo, is issuing orders that when put into force will see the Big Horn Mountains encircled by ground troops and helicopters. For it must never be revealed that the DNA sample taken from the Pedros man is a dead match for the Roswell aliens. Here they have been gazing into space while all the while aliens have been living underfoot. If word got out this would mean worldwide panic, so every alien they find must be annihilated.
