It led to dangerous places and dangerous choices. To being chased in dark alleys by predators and turning the hunt on them. To blurring the lines between victim and slayer.
But what's the point of immortality and sharp fangs if I don't put them to good use? And what better use could I possibly find than sparing others from a fate similar to mine?
The answers to those questions become murkier with each passing day.
But I can mull on them while I go back to being what I was turned into centuries ago, a huntress prey.
