Revolution On St. Barbara

Ernest Masterman, the British Chancellor of the Exchequer, and his wife Sybil come to the small Caribbean island of St Barbara, having experienced revolution elsewhere. The Administrator of the island arranges for them to stay with the island's leading businessman, wily Joseph Mordecai. Mordecai is under financial pressure and conceives the notion of hoodwinking the Chancellor into the belief that St Barbara is on the brink of revolution, which can only be averted by a massive cash grant from the British Government...
