My Orc Hookup

(2026)
(Book 15 in the Eastshore Isle series)

I downloaded MonsterSmash for one night of fun. No strings, no complications, no falling for a crude, tattooed orc with a filthy mouth and a history of walking out.

Brakkor was supposed to be one perfect mistake…then my best friend married his brother.

Now I’m trapped on Eastshore Isle for a week-long wedding celebration while Brakkor stalks around glaring at everyone, calling me
Kitten, and acting like the fact that we slept together weeks ago is somehow still relevant (while I’m trying to pretend that gravelly voice hasn’t been living rent-free in my head). My car breaks down on the north cliffs, a storm traps me in his apartment. And the same orc who claims he doesn’t do relationships keeps fixing my problems before I can solve them myself.

He cooks for me. He talks his way into a meeting with the island’s eccentric millionaire. He gets me the archaeology contract I’ve been chasing for years.

And somehow he does all of it while insisting we are absolutely
not Mates. Good. Great, actually. Because I already know what happens when you trust someone who makes you feel wanted. I’m not doing that again—especially not with an orc whose entire dating philosophy sounds like a nature documentary.

I’m going to have to leave him before he can break my heart.

This feel-good, low-angst, high-heat cozy romance features the following tropes: Fated Mates, one-night-stand with a surprise reunion, grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, adorable small-town (of course), lots of humor, lots of heat!

Genre: Paranormal Romance
