There is a man in Sankta Varath who knows how to take heads. Even has a special burlap sack for the uglier ones...

Frank Gerber was forged into a killer over his many years in service to the King’s Army. Military life didn’t stick though. The politics too obvious, and ass-kissing too dirty. Now, he roams the dark alleys, prying sweet coin from the bosoms of his bounties.

When his latest employer Vinnie sours their deal, Frank compromises violently. Heads roll and debts are settled with the clank of steel. Only, not the way Frank expected. After a brief and bloody compromise, he is now the new owner of a rundown nightclub sitting in the middle of the orc-infested part of town called the Ashpit.

The one good thing about the whole mess? Frank still has his powers, his, abilities, and his skills. When it comes to fetching moonshine from orc warlords, diving into cursed dungeons for loot and trophies or haggling with thrifty goblins, Frank always finds a way. But attracting new customers? Not too easy for a fellow of the head-taking persuasion.

The nightlife pushes the veteran ever deeper into the shady underground world of Sankta Varath. Even though his new business requires most of his attention, Frank needs to level up quickly and become much stronger if he wants to keep his head above water. Orcs want booze, the king wants his tax, and everyone seems to want a piece of his new ‘heaven’.

With the help of his sullen drow bartender, a fanatical zealot waiter, and a horny satyr bard, Frank juggles the worlds of tavern and dungeon life on a knife’s edge.
